You shouldn't sugarcoat how you're feeling because you're afraid your partner will get upset. If something is bothering you, say how you feel. What's the point of being with somebody you're scared of being honest with? Keep being genuine. Keep being honest. When you're in a good, healthy relationship, your partner will listen to you and they'll take what you said to heart. They'll work on fixing the problem with you.
