I hear your fear, but your conclusions are statistically and historically false. You claimed 60 to 70% of Muslims are a threat to society. Let’s look at the data.
1) John L. Esposito and Dalia Mogahed wrote a book called: Who Speaks for Islam? In this book, they analyzed a large Gallup poll of the Muslim world. The research showed that 93% of Muslims are moderates. That is, your fear is based on a tiny minority, not the global majority.
You also mentioned ISIS and Boko Haram. Did you know Muslims are their primary victims? Global terrorism data shows that the vast majority of people killed by these groups are Muslims in Muslim-majority countries. Therefore, blaming everyday Muslims for their crimes is like blaming the victims for the actions of their killers.
Again, there is a glaring hypocrisy you haven’t talked about. How you and the media analyze these events. Your post says a lot to prove me right.
When a Christian commits a horrific crime, he is treated as an isolated individual. He is known by his name, and his religion is shielded. But when a Muslim commits a crime, his entire religion is instantly tagged to him.
Let me even ask you a question? Have you heard of figures such as Timothy McVeigh, Anders Breivik, or Joseph Kony and the Lord's Resistance Army before?
Jsyk, they committed unimaginable terrorism, yet the media never branded them as Christian terrorists or blamed the Church. Their faith was protected while they were rightfully blamed as individuals.
If we judge Islam by the actions of a radicalized few, we must judge every other religion by the same standard. Read the data and do not let media bias dictate your reality.
2) As for the historical marriage of Aisha, your position is borne out of ignorance. This is why you can boldly ignore the context and the historical reality of the 7th-century to say the nonsense you are saying.
Did the Prophet marry Aisha in the 21st century? No. So why are you hell bent in distorting history? In fact, do you also know that across all global cultures, inclusive of Christianity, marriage was tied to puberty and societal readiness?
If you look at the Bible and early Christian history, teenage marriage was the accepted standard. Theological and historical consensus places Mary, the mother of Jesus, at around 12 to 14 years old when she was betrothed to Joseph.
In fact, King Josiah in the Old Testament became a father by age 15, meaning his marriage happened even earlier. What the Prophet (peace be upon him) did was not strange to the era he lived in. It was the universal norm.
You are the one who is suffering from presentism. It is a type of psychological disorder where one is hellbent on judging historical figures by modern standards. Yet, the two eras are not comparable.
Presentism is not a valid argument. It is just historical illiteracy dressed up as fake outrage.
Read. Learn. Don’t be ignorant.
Allah knows best.
@Phil_Lewis_ Where are all the Nigerians who were flooding my comments and driving me crazy? Take a moment to look at your real enemy and see who the truly inhumane people are.

The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia, Miss., in June “was justified,” Mississippi attorney general’s office announced https://t.co/YZUVstINEA
They completely ignored the sanctity of the place and the gravity of violating and desecrating sacred land. Instead, they cherry-picked one part of the story and rushed to declare that the punishment for zina is 100 lashes, as if that settles the entire matter. Absolutely astonishing!
If a Muslim finds himself in the West, like the UK, the US, or Canada, they MUST respect their laws.
They should not demand their own rules. They should not flout the constitution. They should not protest against the established legal system of the host country. They should not carry foreign flags to challenge the system.
Likewise, if a non-Muslim finds himself in an Islamic or Muslim majority country, they MUST respect their laws.
They should not desecrate their sacred sanctuaries. They should not protest their penal codes. They should not try to force a secular moral compass on a sovereign state. They should not carry foreign flags to disrespect the land.
Respect cannot be a one way street. People are too hypocritical. This is why I said the issue is not even about Saudi Arabia. Even if Saudi frees those people today, these blockheads will still yarn dust. They will just find another trending topic to attack the religion. It is the faith they hate.
Do not pander to their hate. Stand firm upon the truth. Their forefathers tried more than this and they got tired. Theirs will not be different.
Just a place? Do you genuinely see it as an ordinary place like any other? To us, this is the House of Allah, and that makes it sacred. We would be willing to sacrifice our lives and give everything we have to protect it.
You will never truly understand our feelings, our devotion, or our loyalty to our sacred sites. These are not just buildings or geographical locations to us; they are sacred symbols of our faith, our identity, and our devotion to Allah. You may see it as just a place, but to us, it is far more than that.
You cannot expect us to treat the desecration of our holiest site as an ordinary incident. Respecting the sanctity of our holy places is not cruelty; it is a matter of faith, dignity, and principle. You may not share our beliefs, but that does not give you the right to dismiss the profound meaning this place holds for us.
@postingpirate@npckhalas Oh, they’re just two innocent young men who committed fornication in the holiest place on Earth, inside the Sacred House of Allah. 😔😔☹️How cruel of us not to tolerate the desecration and humiliation of our sacred places! Shame on us for not being kinder. 😮💨
It is not logical to expect a miracle from heaven to descend upon every sinner so that God can punish them.
The protection of our religious sanctities is carried out through God’s soldiers and servants, who have been entrusted with the duty of safeguarding them.
Islam is not about following personal desires or human standards. It has strict laws that must be enforced. Yet, there are many rulings in which the beauty of Islam’s tolerance becomes apparent.
For example, if someone commits adultery in secret, in a place other than the House of God, and no one witnesses it, the door of repentance remains open, even though adultery is considered one of the gravest sins in Islam. The same applies to committing other major sins, as long as they do not harm others. The door of repentance remains open to them.
Yes, mercy exists, and Islam encourages mercy throughout its teachings. But these are the limits set by God, so do not transgress them!
@aluminumtadpole@npckhalas The point is not to kill them out of personal animosity, but to deter anyone who might be tempted to cross the boundaries of our sacred places.
Kindness and the appearance of tolerance are not always the solution.
You don’t understand the diversity of people you’re dealing with. Makkah receives visitors from all over the world, with vastly different mindsets, levels of awareness, and cultural backgrounds. Some people have a lower level of understanding, while others have a greater one. You cannot assume that everyone has the same mentality or level of awareness.
To deter people from repeating such a disgraceful act, imprisonment alone may not be enough. I don’t want this behavior to happen again, and I don’t want anyone to even consider committing such an act. But how do you deter people? Would imprisonment really be an effective punishment? You’re talking about people who may come from societies where prison conditions in Saudi Arabia are better than the homes they lived in back in their own countries. So how am I supposed to deter them? A ta’zir punishment that reflects the gravity of the offense is one way to make its seriousness unmistakably clear and deter others from repeating it.
Alright, you seem to have at least some sense of humanity. So let me ask you: do you genuinely consider it humane for a Muslim man and woman—people who are fully aware of the religious prohibition and sanctity of committing zina inside the Grand Mosque in Makkah—to engage in such an act there anyway? Did they feel no shame, no remorse, and no respect for the call to prayer echoing around them, proclaiming, “Come to prayer, come to success,” while they were allegedly committing an indecent act inside a house of Allah?
If you want to talk about humanity, then consider the sanctity of the place, the seriousness of the alleged act, and the deliberate disregard for the religious values held sacred by millions of Muslims. Why is all the attention focused on defending the individuals, while the violation of the mosque’s sanctity is brushed aside?
Do you believe that respecting human dignity means ignoring the sanctity of religious places and the values of the people who worship there? Or should respect and accountability apply to everyone?
If you want to talk about humanity, start by looking at your own country’s record. The United States was built in part on the enslavement of Africans, the dispossession of Native Americans, and the mass internment of Japanese Americans. Its invasion of Iraq caused devastating consequences for millions of people, including innocent Iraqi civilians who lost their lives, homes, and loved ones. Serious human rights concerns continue to this day.
Human suffering deserves to be taken seriously wherever it occurs. Before judging another country’s laws and decisions, remember that your own country has a history of actions that caused immense human suffering. You preach humanity while showing so little of it when it comes to the suffering your own country has inflicted on others.
If you truly believe in human dignity, apply the same standards consistently to every country, including your own. Otherwise, your criticism risks becoming selective rather than principled.
الفاحشة (adultery) is a complete sexual relationship
The crime took place in one of the mosques in Mecca.
The two people are not married, according to the man's father.
Mosques are for worship and religious learning, not for prostitution.
It is neither your business nor your place to decide whether the crime warranted the death penalty. Your only responsibility is to respect our sacred places and our Sharia. Our government is responsible for protecting the sanctity of the Holy Mosque in Makkah. We will not seek your permission when it comes to punishing anyone who violates the sanctity of our holy sites.
@nihilistbeaver@npckhalas Even with Bangladeshi reports indicating that they were not married, you’re still denying the facts? What more do you want to know? CCTV footage of their indecent act? 😂 I can see you’re very curious!
