Good evening, friends

My name is Hlmey Al-Masry, I am 25 years old, from Gaza.

I never thought I would have to write a message like this, but today I am reaching out for help to keep my family alive under very harsh conditions.

My family consists of 16 members, including 9 children, and we are currently living in a temporary tent shelter after losing the stability and safety of our home. Every day is a struggle to secure the most basic needs — food, clean water, and dignity.

Life here has become extremely difficult, and survival depends on daily support and whatever we can manage to find.

Among my family, my brother suffers from epilepsy (seizure disorder), and he needs continuous medication and medical care. This adds a heavy burden on us, especially in these conditions where access to treatment is very limited.

Our situation is not about comfort — it is about survival.

We estimate our daily basic needs at around $80, just to provide food and essential living supplies for the entire family.

On a monthly basis, we need around $2,400, which covers food, basic necessities, medical treatment, and university fees for some family members who are still trying to continue their education despite everything.

I am not asking for luxury or extra support — only for help to survive this difficult reality and keep my family safe and alive.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will directly help us secure food, medicine, and basic human needs.

I finally got some good news. The repair shop said I only need to replace the broken screen, not the whole phone. The repair will cost about $700 instead of $2,000 for a new one.

It's still a lot for me, but it's a much better option.

I went to a phone repair shop today, and the owner told me I don't need a new phone after all. He said replacing the broken screen would be enough, costing about $700 instead of $2,000 for a new phone.

It's still far beyond what I can afford, but it's a much smaller step.
