2000 customers @ $39/month is almost $1M/year.
If your software can handle 2000 customers, you can worry about scalability once the $1M/year is flowing in.
Scalability doesn’t get you cutomers. First have customers, then worry about scalability. The order matters.

@AlexOsterwalder 2/2 Though to me the exciting part is the serendipitous moment of discovering some unexpected value on the way that wasn’t part of the original business idea. Maybe that’s an addition to consider for the definition.
@AlexOsterwalder 1/2 I like the term R&D in that context because to me it implies that there is no guarantee to find a working business model. The only thing I am wondering about is whether the definition leads to the assumption that the outcome of the testing is binary: validated/ invalidated.

@PapaChrisMatts @nilswloka @codecentric Great. Maybe @jancoupette wants to join us. We will DM you some date suggestions. In case you have some certain times of availability – pls drop me a note.
@PapaChrisMatts @nilswloka @codecentric Unfortunately not. I could send you our „user manual“ but you are not looking for solutions as I understand. We can have a chat and you tell me what you wanna know.
@markusandrezak Confirmed. The problem is big enough and has a big enough market to feed three teams we built for and trained on fast experimentation with software and offer as a service. “Solely” focused on the discovery phase I should add.
@mrFunkyWisdom True. The worst thing I see happening is people using low-fi #prototypes confusing testing usability with validating viability. #productmanagement#mvp
