We have seen enough. Since the Bill was gazetted by Parliament, any sane incumbent who truly cares about the interests of Zimbabwe would have stopped this whole charade of sham and violent public hearings.
Not only were the hearings flawed, but they were also marred by the bussing of people who do not reside in the areas where the venues were allocated. ZANU-PF deliberately limited the number of venues in order to bus people, crowd them into one place, and create the illusion that CAB3 is popular.
Let us not be deterred by abductions, intimidation, torture, and the unwarranted arrest of those who are strong-willed enough to voice their dissatisfaction with the Bill.
Let us conscientise our peers, mobilise, and resist this Bill.
