This week I celebrate another discovery from @HutchBasicSci to celebrate our 40th anniversary, which is Bob Eiseman's work showing that the viral Myc oncogene encodes a nuclear protein and set the stage for understanding its transcription functions
I just completed the COVID-19 prevention clinical studies volunteer registry questionnaire. It was easy! Join me in helping science move forward. https://t.co/aMA7Pb1puv
Very excited to share our latest work highlighting a tumor suppressive role for the 'mega' protein MGA in lung cancer!! A great team effort with Bob & the Eisenfolk, @DMacPhersonLab, Yuzuru, Grady Lab, McGarry @kumudrajp @MichaelGeuenich https://t.co/BQKuNLchLO
A first case of #COVID19 reinfection from HKU, with distinct virus genome sequences in 1st and 2nd infection (142 days apart). Kudos to the scientists for this study.
This is no cause for alarm - this is a textbook example of how immunity should work.

New website https://t.co/RYsdqOSMlh allows people in the U.S. to register to take part in #clinicaltrials for #vaccines. @HHSGov has appointed Fred Hutch as the coordinating center for vaccine clinical trials run by the Covid-19 Prevention Network. https://t.co/k2x0TTErqn
It was a privilege to work @fredhutch for more than 17 years but I’m now looking for the next chapter in my career. I’m grateful to Jim Priess, Bob Eisenman, @HutchBasicSci administration, @FH_Immigration and the @fredhutch talent acquisition team for great opportunities!
Well the Myc meeting was a huge success with a real sense of community. Some scientific fields are toxic and others collegiate. It often depends on the field’s founders. We were lucky enough to have Bob Eisenman. The rest is history.
Members of the Fred Hutch staff and faculty raise a new #BlackLivesMatter flag and banner on the Hutch campus in South Lake Union. Learn more about the actions were taking to end racial injustice and promote change at our organization and in our community: https://t.co/wpocXBamSC
In cancer, the context “makes” the mutation: Fred Hutch Drs. @DMacPhersonLab, Bob Eisenman, @LucasBSullivan show that whether a mutated gene suppresses or promotes small-cell lung cancer depends on other cellular changes #SCLC https://t.co/EGbNHdiP81
And it’s out!!! We’ve a long way to go before we fully understand the enigma that is MAX but we took a crack at it.. Fun ride with @ArnaudAugert@DMacPhersonLab , Bob & the ‘Eisenfolk’
