4 May 1943 | A transport of 2,930 Jews - men, women & children - deported from the ghetto in Thessaloniki in German-occupied Greece arrived at #Auschwitz. After selection, 220 men & 318 women were registered in the camp. The remaining 2,392 people were murdered in gas chambers.
