@TheRubenSaurus Hot take - Remember that "little" controversy about a bait and switch regarding base-building and the Galaxy, and how someone had to walk back their statements in public? I wonder if we'll get a "begrudged" version of the Galaxy instead of what we were promised "just because."

Heard the 2027 Ship Schedule is being worked on, and a certain staff member is pushing for the 600i series rework.

Who’s excited to finally see the 600i get its long-overdue rework? Those concept images CIG dropped about4 years ago still look incredible.

There's a lot to be excited about if this actually comes into fruition.

Highlights based on official information from 2023:

- No major changes to the exterior
- Three decks
- Engineering deck below crew habitation area
- Updated components
- Individual crew cabins
- Great-room habitation area
- Improved flow around the ship
- Reduced wasted bridge space, "a few tweaks" to chair layout
- Materials and lighting to the standard of the 890
- Modules shifted to the rear area, allowing them to be larger
- Increased cargo capacity
- Captains quarters only area remaining the same, tho with the bathroom shifted to the other side of the room
- Docking port with ready room for gear
- Improved remote turret design

@chonkrider Please add the 600i rework to this list. The current ship is almost completely unusable. They showed concept Art and it’s on record.

@StarCitizenDan Make no mistake, the 600i rework is a concept ship. The current ship’s back section is inaccessible due to the midship doors not working. They created concept art. Many of us bought the ship based on that concept art. They owe it to us and they should make it a priority.
