@Pickleball@ZaneNavratil@pickleballpod Against the freeze. In favor of serving winning point even if it requires you go beyond 25. Every rally still scores. Just win that last serve to finish. Leaves the door slightly open for a comeback. Avoids anticlimactic finish on failed service.
I never liked the old MLP freeze. My proposed tweak to the rally scoring is to add a requirement that you must win on your serve. However, all the rallies still score — there’s no freeze at 24. You just may end up winning at 26 or more because you have to serve that last point.
