@airborne__ @em_is_typing If you only need a 1bdr apt 3k MIGHT cover rent. If you need more than 1 for a family it might cover rent if you live 45min outside DC. Average rent is 3500-4000 for a 3bd/2.5bath on the VA side. BAH is not commensurate w/cost unless you’re a field grade officer or single.
