I saw a woman on TikTok say she was a "good girl" her whole life. Did everything the "right" way. Followed the rules. Kept the peace. Put everyone else first. Now she's in her 40s and said all she feels like she has to show for it is grief and a lot of built-up anger. And honestly, as a woman, I felt that deeply. Because nobody really talks about how being the "good girl" often benefits everyone around you except the actual good girl. Everyone else gets the patience, the understanding, the sacrifice. And she's the one left realizing she spent years shrinking herself just to keep everyone else comfortable.
Okay… does anybody have advice on how to lessen medical bills besides philhealth and HMO?
I have no idea what to do, I really don’t want to provide money to the point where I’m not going to be able to pay for anything next month 😢 but my parents can’t afford this… I dunno
i have no desire to be rich so i can buy a rolex or a lamborghini.
i want to be rich so i can control my time and go to the gym at 3pm on a monday.
sit at a cafe and relax for an hour on a rainy afternoon.
so i can cook meals at home with fresh ingredients.
spend on my family and friends without worrying about a budget.
that's my idea of a rich life, not the fake consumerist idea shoved down my throat.
Work on your EQ. Two underrated skills that will bring you far in life;
1. Learn to give criticism without offending and to take criticism without reacting on impulse. Pause your reaction when you feel triggered, and think about how this criticism can help you grow instead.
i trained a computer vision model to count chinups
roboflow rapid + SAM3 detected the chinup bar - hands - head through natural language prompts
then I wrote a python script to count completed reps (head above bar) and annotate the video
idea for a gamified fitness app? automated tracking of your workout, with rep counts per exercise added to your database. this gives progress stats over time, and a leaderboard with your friends
these new vision models are neat because they can detect exercise equipment, allowing tracking of dumbbell workouts, bench press, squat, etc.
