Last night, May 17,the junta’s armed forces cut off the drinking water supply connecting Mindat town.
Locals worry water shortages could entirely cut off in the next two days because Mindat is located at 4,860 feet above sea level, where wells cannot be dug.

In Mohnyin Tsp, Junta troops were chasing CDM education staffs since 10 pm. Reportedly, at least 4 CDM teachers were abducted. This is Teacher Aye Mya Thidar who was abducted last night.
