respecting each other’s decisions really isn’t that hard. you can choose who you want to support without tearing anyone else down. everyone deserves to be supported on the path they chose, right? <3
I hope we can remember that behind every decision, there is a person trying to choose what is best for their own life. We don’t live their reality, we don’t know every thought, struggle, or consideration behind their choices & we don’t have the right to decide what they should do.
If they leave, respect their decision. If they stay, respect that too. Different choices don’t mean someone is wrong. They have worked hard, grown & earned the right to choose their own path.
Stop blaming them for choosing what they believe is best for their future.
Not sure who needs to hear this but I'm afraid (even) some markfs will need to start letting go the NCT Mark's image off him.
I am more than sure the first thing his whole team (including PR team) will do is clearly working to strip away his old K-pop persona and establish him as the independent artist and Co-CEO he is today.
We can't expect him to keep playing the idol character he officially left behind when he parted ways with his old group and agency.
Some of you (including the haters) don't even realise how they've started revamping his whole outlook from top to bottom in that Sisod event and on the Weverse photos but that's for another day conversation lol
It’s completely valid to prefer his NCT era, just as it’s valid to love both versions of him.
At the end of the day, he’s still Mark Lee, he’s just not that idol Mark anymore.
Keep going, Mark Lee.
We’ll always here,
cheering for you.

But to actually dream in detail
for something
That's bigger than my own life
And then to put that
dream and drive
and reason as the base
of everything that I do
That's life, no?
