What can I say other than I am INCREDIBLY HONORED to have won Best Feature AND the Grand Prize @Slamdance 2022. Just overwhelmed by the affirmation and love, so many thanks to all of the readers and the team at Slamdance. https://t.co/2iTgAwwfQb
Didn’t update yesterday, but wrote through page 33. Act II is starting a little slow but I think it’s better to keep pushing than get too bogged down. Probably no pages today since I’m traveling but we’ll be back at it tomorrow.
Was exhausted today after a late game night (I am settling quite well into my 30s, thank you very much) but still managed to get through page 28. Taking a break through the weekene but we’ll be right back at it on Monday. Have a good weekend all 😁
On page 20 and really like what I have so far. Definitely needs some trimming but focused on moving forward and keeping the momentum. What are y’all working on right now?
Up to page 15, definitely starting to feel a little groove! I’m really excited for this script, it’s bringing together a bunch of different concepts that weren’t quite strong enough on their own but work so well in tandem.
Hello friends, it’s been awhile! Figured I might as well try and jump on this Inktober train and I’ve got about 10 pages on my new feature. Don’t know if I’ll get to “Fade to Black” by the end of the month but excited to share some updates. Wish me luck.
This past weekend I volunteered at the Veterans Writing Project and getting to serve these new mentees was a pleasure. As of today, I'm excited to share that I am a repped writer! This is just another step towards becoming a professional, but it feels incredible to share.
So yesterday, our cat Inky had what must have been, for his little cat brain, a genuine horror experience.
(he is fine)
First of all, you need to understand that he hates the broom.
Today was my 29th birthday and my last day of active duty. I have served for seven years; this was the hardest thing I've ever done, but I don't think I would make a different choice. This is who I am, for better or for worse. Ave atque vale - hail and farewell.
Hey y’all, it’s been a minute! Excited to share that I am in my LAST month of service and will be moving back to LA where I’ll be taking an internship with the Writers Guild Foundation. This chapter has been long, but boy does the future look hopeful.
