BREAKING: Republicans shriek with rage as a new report reveals that the Justice Department spent over $5.4 million on Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation in the first five months.

An additional $3.8 million has been spent by other DOJ agencies assisting Smith’s historic investigation bringing the total to just over $9 million — paltry pocket change for the U.S. government.

Conservatives are absurdly calling it a “waste of money” because apparently investigating a literal coup attempt is not a worthwhile use of funds. The truth is that they’re terrified of what Smith is uncovering.

Already the investigation has unearthed a mountain of evidence, including tapes of Trump boasting about illegally mishandling classified documents.

Donald Trump is one of the worst criminals in American history. Even if it took BILLIONS to take him down it would be worth it to secure our democracy from other would-be fascist dictators who may try to follow his example.
