A 92 year-old nun died today in a Carmelite Monastery in Illinois. She was kind of an unusual nun. She didn’t sing very well. She was frequently late to her required duties around the convent. She threw sticks for the communal dogs which was not allowed. Also she was my mother.

@PaaKwesiPIPER @Joy997FM And I completed high school 9 years ago! Where we paid fees. So if it was the same for me back then, then certainly we are putting too much blame on free education, when clearly there are other things at play

@Joy997FM ... Maybe the problem is not Free Education (though I understand how it can make things more difficult) Maybe its how we manage our resources! Because this was exactly my experience of boarding school, and we were paying fees!

@Joy997FM What this girl is describing, while its not good, is nothing new. Even back when we paid school fees it was exactly same! Bad furniture, soup that looked like muddied water , pepper that smelled like gasoline, bad rice , I could go on for days!...
