Seeing that Bono trending. Just like to remind everyone he serenaded Jared and Ivana Trump on Rupert Murdoch's yacht. The disgusting tax dodging, Zionist hypocrite bellend.
@JOMGLNMR The textbook definition. Zionism is an ethnocultural nationalist movement that emerged in Europe in the late 19th century and aimed for the establishment of a home for the Jewish people through the colonization of Palestine.
If the graffiti read "Jews not welcome" it would be a shameful disgrace. Zionism on the other hand is a disgusting concept. The graffiti is anti Zionist not anti Semitic. A view shared by the majority in Ireland.
Hello, all. Heartbreaking update.
The photo on the left was taken by me on the East Pier in Dún Laoghaire a few minutes ago. It says ‘Zionists not welcome in Dún Laoghaire’.
I grew up in Dún Laoghaire. It is my beloved hometown. I have walked and run down this pier thousands of times throughout the course of my life: in the evenings after school to wind down, at weekends with my family.
Once again, I feel the echoes of what my ancestor’s experienced in this country. On the right is a photo of my grandfather’s old gramophone store in Dublin City Centre. In front of it is antisemitic graffiti. Amongst swastikas and ‘boycott/expel the Jews’, it says ‘put Zionists in “thier” [their] place’. This photo was taken circa 1940, before the modern state of Israel even existed.
Plus ça change.
The State of us, 2024. We've been a portrait of silliness. Let's hope things change for '25.

It’s time for THE charger.
Today, the USB-C becomes officially the common standard for charging electronic devices in the EU.
It means better-charging technology, reduced e-waste, and less fuss to find the chargers you need.
