It was never grounded in reality.

The United States is the world’s sole superpower. We are the primary actor on the global stage. We influence virtually every major geopolitical conflict, alliance, and economic system on earth.

Israel understands its survival depends on its alliance with the United States. The relationship is not one where Israel dictates terms to America. In reality, Israel operates with a clear understanding that American backing is essential to its security and strategic position.

The idea that the U.S. government is taking orders from Israel is internet fantasy, not serious geopolitical analysis.
