Having a nightmare with @British_Airways just trying to use the Avios we have collected to book flights. Somehow triggered “security measures” and told “keep trying periodically” to see if checks completed. No timescale. No support. Nothing.

@British_Airways Yes, I understand the reason for them - what I don’t understand @British_Airways is why you can’t tell us how long it will take and just expect us to keep trying to book flights and give you money. TAKE OUR MONEY, PLEASE!

Not to mention the amount of Avios needed has increased in the meantime so we had to

I understand checks may sometimes be needed but after spending almost a whole day online and on the phone about it at the beginning of the week, leaving it until the end of the week and STILL unable to book the flight with no indication of when checks may be completed? Rubbish.

Hi @SW_Help and @CrossCountryUK - the 14:45 from Bournemouth to Birmingham was cancelled and started from Southampton. The platform guard at Bournemouth assured me the train would wait at Southampton to allow us to make it. It didn’t. Any ideas?
