The girls are super excited for their England Badminton National finals day. 🏸 Students travelled down yesterday, enjoyed an evening meal together as a team before an early nights sleep 💤

Year 7 Development Team ⚽️

This afternoon our Y7 development team travelled to play in games against LSA. All three team’s played some excellent football with over 25 students representing Hodgson.

We wanted to share the amazing achievements of some of our Year 9 & 10 girls;
Matilda, Cydney, Betsie, Poppy, Cerys, Emily.
Their team played in the France Mediterranean Cup in Beziers over the weekend. They ended up winning the whole tournament.

The Hodgson U16 girls team (Molly Foxton, Summer Stafford, Verity Parker and Sophie Wilford) won the final round of the National Schools Badminton Competition for the North West region.

Congratulations to our Year 7 boys who played St Augustine's School this afternoon in the Lancashire Cup 4th Round. The boys played some excellent football and comfortably won 11-1 with goals from LeSean (3), Luke R (3), Diego (2), Sam N (2) and Roman.

They beat Haslingden High 8-3 with goals from Lexi (2), Matilda (3), Isabella and Ava-Mae (2).
