IOS DEVS ATTENTION βΌοΈ
if you ship iOS apps, which part of the App Store listing do you hate doing the most: screenshots, keywords or the description?
I built a Mac app for one of them and I'm curious if I picked the right one
@kushmergedeck Yes, of course it sends a notification
it can be either a phone haptic feedback or a pleasant "beep" sound, like in Tesla cars :)
It works even when the app isn't active
I miss iOS development π«
these photo are from October 2025, before vibecoding became the default for every developer. back then AI gave me a few snippets and I wrote the rest myself, and the grass was greener
would you go back to coding without AI, or never give it up?
asked three AIs for a cat sleeping on a windowsill in the rain, one try each. Claude Sonnet 5, Sonnet 5.5 and Opus 5.5.
which of these three is the best?
ChatGPT clearly has far more users who don't pay for a subscription; literally every mom has the app on her smartphone, and the free limits are more than enough for them.
Claude, on the other hand, is a more professional project with many paying users. To be fair, you can't really do much on Claude without a subscription :)
@kedytcom In my opinion, ASO is a very complex process that requires a lot of attention to achieve results, but if you succeed, the results will be incredible
What kind of app are you building?
Been playing with the iPhone Duo simulator π
Half folded it already looks like a laptop, so I made it one
Terminal on top, keyboard on the bottom. It boots as you open the lid.
Started as a toy, but now I keep wondering what this pose is
actually good for in a real app
What would you put down there?
