@letice721@emilykmay Ye but the thing is people can have hookups with any stranger and just have sex. But kissing and cuddling without sex isn’t really something that happens between strangers. That’s what makes it different. In this gen, everyone has sex with ppl they’re not close to.
@letice721@emilykmay I get where you’re coming from, but there are other ways to be intimate besides having sex, which is what the post is about. It would be nice to be able to cuddle and make out with your partner without them being like “sex?”. Sex is nice, but intimacy without sex is also nice.
@richhoescheat@MsOnnaHush@PoorDecisionsMW@yvessirae True, but what difference does this make in sex? How does men being aggressive with sex=women should get treated differently. Break it down. Cause it seems to me that it doesn’t quite correlate. There are obviously biological differences, but socially, why does that matter?
@richhoescheat@MsOnnaHush@PoorDecisionsMW@yvessirae Explain why you feel this way, I am open to different opinions. Imo there is really no reason for men and women to be perceived differently when it comes to sex in today’s society without misogynistic reasoning.
@richhoescheat@MsOnnaHush@PoorDecisionsMW@yvessirae You are 100% right, those are the standards. If that is something you want to change and make equal, then try your best, you have my support. That doesn’t excuse misogyny. Being ok when men do something, but hating women when they do it is wrong.
@richhoescheat@MsOnnaHush@PoorDecisionsMW@yvessirae We do want to do that. The reason that some men don’t hold women to their standards is because of nothing but misogyny. That is why they view women differently, and nothing else. Some men view women as objects still.
@ichriecheblut@Hollywood_JT_ no. it might be better for some people to wait til they are married to have a kid. In most cases, marrying someone means that you know them better and are willing to spend the rest of your life with them. People nowadays have kids with people they don’t fully trust/know.
