I genuinely feel sorry for kids growing up nowadays. No giant student sections in costumes, no twitter fights with other schools, no lines going out to the parking lots just to get into a varsity game.. No school spirit bruh it’s sad
Say YES to potting plants with your grandma. Say YES to going fishing with your grandpa. Say YES to playing bingo with your mom. Say YES to dinner plans with your dad. Someday there’ll be a time when you can only speak to them in prayer. Cherish the time you have with them now!!!
Heading into May:
1) Don't beg anyone to stay.
2) Save space for people who matter.
3) Keep your circle small.
4) Accept what you cannot change.
5) Leave behind what isn't good for you.
6) Do more and expect less.
7) Give time for yourself and love yourself.
8) Regret nothing.
my Grandma passed away last night after battling w/ Alzheimer’s & even though my Grandpa lost his best friend & the love of his life for the past 65 years, one of the first calls I got this morning was my Grandpa calling to check up on me
We really don’t deserve grandparents
