When it comes to #remotelearning grading can be a very sticky issue. A vast majority of students still have yet to complete an assignment. Some don’t have parent support. Then there are equity issues. Key question to ask - What will a grade really tell us at this point? #edchat
@jmattmiller Thank you for ALL the awesome resources you share! There is a link on the Online Learning Ideas site on the SEL page that isn't working. It's the PDF report link about adversity and stress on the brain near the bottom of the page. Hope to access that! Thank you!
#SchoolCounselors, Just wanted to pass along this free resource "When I Grow Up: Career Lessons & Activities for 9-12 grade" #scchat#hschat

Teachers are more motivated when their administration supports them, values them, and encourages them. I suspect that’s when students are more motivated too.
Please remember that all those interactions you have with your students outside of the lesson really matter. The smiles... the eye contact... the jokes... the fist bumps... the silliness...they’re all important. They remind kids that they matter. Those moments can mean the world.
