Among some big name capitals and subway networks, Delhi metro ranks the top performing subway over many years, beating even Tokyo metro.

Also, here's some conspiracy from me as always: Almost all of India's metros consistently perform the best in the world in terms of punctuality and low breakdowns. And they carry a large number of people.

Indian cultures are for the most part pretty pragmatic, inherently secular, and prioritize the right things in life.

But we've also accumulated worldview baggage from centuries of foreign occupation; sometimes by those who hated our culture and sought to keep India divided.

It makes us view interactions with one another as 0-sum games; and we rightly then view each other with suspicion, always on guard until we know better. We end up hating and exploiting each other.

Social media can help with the reconditioning. Or it can harm that process. Ultimately, at a high level, Indians need to have veto power over what form the re-conditioning takes.
