It's crazy hot here & all of wildlife will struggle. Putting out shallow bowls of water will save lives. Hygiene is super important. Such a small kind thing to do that has a huge positive impact! Pls share.

ALL I CAN HEAR IS MACHINERY!!
So many are out in their gardens tidying it up. Lives will be lost as not everyone knows to check long grass before cutting it. DON'T cut right to the edge of the grass, hedge or border as hedgehogs may be resting there. Please spread the word x

Filming Hedgehogs -I only film hedgehogs in our rescue when their cages are being cleaned or fed. All the hogs are poorly & less disturbance means less stress which aids healing! Posts with pics are engaging & help to educate save our prickly friends. Please RT x

"Out in the day is not ok" is a well meant message, but at this time of year puts pregnant females who do venture out out in the day at risk of being whisked away from their newborns and causing their demise.

Some of you know my son & know the struggles he has had growing up as a neurodivergent person. He's grown up with the rescue & is extremely knowledgeable. Josh also helps out on rescues, he has the muscles, me the brains lol. I'm super proud of him!

A late night rescue last night in Camberley. 2 hedgehogs stuck down a drain. A 10 year lad spotted them & alerted his parents who called us. 2 males needing some TLC and rehabilitation Finders covered drain. @BBCSurrey @Surreyheath @surreylive #hedgehogawarenessweek #rescue
