INTERLINK KYC: I SEE THE CHANGES, BUT I STILL WANT TO SPEAK UP!
I want to share a few personal thoughts about InterLink's KYC issue, something I have been following closely over the past several months.
I will not deny that KYC has caused a great deal of frustration within the community from the very beginning.
As someone who directly manages and works with multiple InterLink communities across different regions, I have received many complaints, concerns, and questions, some of which I honestly did not even know how to answer at times.
There are people who have been contributing to InterLink for months, organizing events, supporting newcomers, and building the community every day, yet they are still waiting to complete KYC. I understand that feeling, and I believe those voices should not be taken lightly.
KV, if you happen to see this message, I sincerely hope you will continue taking action so the community can complete KYC faster.
But today, I also want to acknowledge something positive.
Recently, I have started noticing some encouraging changes. I can see that KV has been paying more attention to the KYC process, pushing it forward, and even getting directly involved to help speed things up.
What makes me happiest is not the announcements themselves, but the messages I have been receiving from the community.
Many users, OGs, Moderators, Leaders, and other members I work with have happily told me that they finally passed their KYC stages after such a long wait. Some had been waiting for months just to see their KYC status change.
And when they shared that joy with me, I genuinely felt happy for them.
That is a positive sign, and I believe KV deserves recognition for those efforts.
However, there is still something I want to say.
Just because some people have completed KYC does not mean the KYC issue is over.
There are still many members out there waiting. They continue participating in activities, supporting the community, organizing events, helping others, and dedicating their valuable time to InterLink every single day.
I sincerely hope KV and the team will continue accelerating the process or find a better solution, especially for members with a clear history of contributions who still haven't been able to complete KYC.
I'm not asking anyone to bypass verification procedures or receive unfair privileges. I simply hope that those who genuinely contribute won't have to wait indefinitely without knowing when their turn will come.
I'm saying this partly from my personal perspective, and partly on behalf of those who are still quietly contributing but haven't had the opportunity to complete KYC.
I see their efforts. I know they're still trying.
And today, I want to raise my voice alongside them.
There is also one decision from KV that I truly appreciate!
In the upcoming ITLG OTC round, according to the information shared, users only need to complete KYC Step 1 to meet the KYC requirement for participating in ITLG OTC, instead of waiting until the entire verification process is completed.
To me, this is a decision that truly deserves recognition.
It shows that KV and InterLink are listening to the community, understanding the difficulties Linkers are facing, and trying to provide a more practical solution.
Let's remember that ITLG isn't just a number displayed inside an app.
Behind those numbers are the hours people spend mining ITLG every day, the efforts of those participating in community events, the late nights OGs and Moderators dedicate to supporting others, and the trust thousands of Linkers have placed in this project.
Of course, OTC participation must still follow the program's official requirements. But allowing people to participate without requiring them to complete every KYC stage first is an important step forward.
KV, I genuinely appreciate this decision!
I believe a strong project isn't one that has never made mistakes. It's a project that listens, adapts, and is willing to take action when its community needs support.
And I truly hope these recent positive changes won't stop here.
Please keep accelerating KYC. Please remember those who are still waiting. Please provide a clearer verification path for long-term contributors who have dedicated their time and effort to InterLink.
Because the community's patience deserves respect, but it should never be taken for granted.
I want to thank InterLink and KV for their recent efforts. I also want to thank every Linker who continues standing with the project, even when things haven't gone as expected.
I still believe in InterLink, but believing in a project doesn't mean staying silent about the problems its community faces.
I will continue recognizing the good, speaking honestly about what needs improvement, and raising my voice whenever the people I represent deserve to be heard.
I'm not here to stand against InterLink. I'm here because I want InterLink to become better.
And I hope that one day soon, the messages I receive will no longer be filled with worries about KYC, but instead with joyful words:
"Hogri, I finally completed KYC!" ❤️
