Fans know that this isn’t Snape. A huge casting mistake on @HBO’s part.
@wbd@StreamOnMax@Caseybloys@jk_rowling hopefully Snape can be recast before the show airs or at least for season 2 #recastsnape#HarryPotter
Characters can be recast, as proven with Ginny in the tv show!
The fact that we need a movie (Mary Poppins Returns) to tell children to read and another movie (Toy Story 5) to tell children to get off devices speaks volumes about society
@dschoberth83@antiwokegameruk@CBR Yep. They totally changed the character and only race swapped Snape. All the other characters are book accurate or as close to the books as possible.
@antiwokegameruk@HogwartsFiles@CBR Essiedu simply doesn't reflect Snape at all. They could have at least given him a somewhat unhealthy complexion, but they were too lazy even for that.
@SwuishyTofu Right! So I’m assuming that whoever posted the above video is the author/ author’s friend/family. I don’t think anyone else can get their hands on these books, since you said it’s non profit and cannot be sold.
Look at this picture and you can see how @HBO fumbled Snape!
@StreamOnMax@caseybloys@jk_rowling@wbd hopefully Snape will be recast for season 2, since you have already proven that characters can be recast. When all the characters are book accurate, Snape too deserves accuracy!
@jk_rowling@jk_rowling I am sorry to tell you this amounts to nothing as long as the miscasting of Snape endures. The passion and money put towards this will have gone towards nothing unless this is fixed. @HBO
Alan Rickman’s personal Harry Potter books 🪄
Few people know this, but #AlanRickman owned his own copies of the #HarryPotter novels. Here are the photos!
These books are not just ordinary copies: they were used by the actor to prepare for his role as #SeverusSnape in the films shot between 2001 and 2011. Some dog-eared pages can be seen.
Alan worked on his scenes with great precision: a deep, detailed approach that was essential in building such a complex character as Severus Snape.
