@StreamOnMax @caseybloys @jk_rowling @wbd hopefully Snape will be recast for season 2, since you have already proven that characters can be recast. When all the characters are book accurate, Snape too deserves accuracy!

Few people know this, but #AlanRickman owned his own copies of the #HarryPotter novels. Here are the photos!

These books are not just ordinary copies: they were used by the actor to prepare for his role as #SeverusSnape in the films shot between 2001 and 2011. Some dog-eared pages can be seen.

Alan worked on his scenes with great precision: a deep, detailed approach that was essential in building such a complex character as Severus Snape.
