8月18日，滿載日用電器、服裝、傢具等貨物的X8426次中歐班列從廣州增城西貨場開出。這趟班列是粵港澳大灣區首次採用「關鐵協同」模式開行的中歐班列。

新模式實施後，中歐班列在發站檢查停留時間由過去4天壓縮至2天，掏箱檢查數量預計將減少超過三分之一，真正實現了「管得住」與「通得快」雙贏。
