Then again, I'm thinking of 99% high IQ folks. I know nothing about the 99.99999999%, or whatever he claims to be.

There must be some ultra high IQ lawyers, to give an example I'm familiar with. They're not all in STEM.

@thomaschattwill Don't you think 99%+ of people buying it know that it's all fake? Maybe they should just change the genre to fiction and keep selling it. I don't see how the normal justification for pulling fake non-fiction applies here. It is unjust enrichment to his family, perhaps.

@thomaschattwill His death is a tragedy for those close to him, and a sad footnote to the story of legitimate public interest. I feel no need to grieve or celebrate it. The focus should turn to Oxford and other institutions with similar practices.

@charlesmurray What is the trade off with race-blind public policy that treats people as individuals and lets the chips fall where they may? I like that idea, but I fear long-term social and political upheaval.
