【Studying a cut with 中目パチ (Nakame Pachi)】

Nakame Pachi is a technique used in tandem with a spacing chart (ツメ指示, Tsume Shiji) to designate when a character blinks within the inbetween drawings.

The pattern in this cut from Season 2 of Frieren goes: closed (トジ目), partially open (中目), open (アキ目)!
