@LeonCompton Well overdue and well done for raising... Considering how hard most, but not all, politicians work, they are well and truely underpaid if they are not fortunate enough to be a minister etc.
@workdemographer I quoted you the other day in Launceston in a LinkedIn post. Your work and advocacy is invaluable and needs greater attention and action from the political realm. I’m a in the fan club!! Thank you for all that you do!!
@ProfRScolyerMIA You’re an absolute inspiration, Richard, and I wish you the best. Thank you for sharing your journey - it’s incredibly inspirational and heartening to all, especially those suffering from ill health. May your results be as equally remarkable. Good luck!
@brentcostelloe People must think we have hundreds of tradespeople sitting around wishing for work. If only!! Commentators are useful if there is a teaspoon of intelligence added.
@suzit500 @MissPolly62 And what’s worse, we have a superb democracy, rule of law, shared values and kinship of the commonwealth, the federation, a Governor General appointed by our elected representatives capable of acting independently of the crown and so on. It’s a dreadful mess. Lets change now!!
@lukemartin83 The projects you mention, I support. The argument for a stadium has lacked community consultation, is not supported by the Libs party room (per Fri), is unclear if GST receipts will be reduced and we have two stadiums already. Your criticism in this case is unreasonable.
@abcnews I applaud the ABC for taking an intelligent approach to this matter. If any government brazenly ignores the people they are elected to serve, then it falls to the media to hold that government to account.
@TurnbullMalcolm Thank you for your exceptional service to Australia. Especially, as a Tasmanian, I’m tremendously grateful for your vision for Launceston and your ingenious City Deal. You will be long remembered and respected for your enthusiasm for the Island State. Thank you.
