I have such a love-hate relationship with social media. On one hand, I love how easy and accessible it is for people to share their work and build relationships/opportunities for themselves. My career 100% wouldn’t be where it’s at without social media 🤷🏾♂️
I also wouldn’t have been able to slide in my lovely gf’s DMs without social media 😏
On the other: with algorithms rewarding repetitive mindless content designed to keep you scrolling, it’s discouraging how difficult it can seem to stand out amongst all the noise. Then when you do finally get past the nonsense, you’re fighting your ego to not be constantly comparing yourself and thinking your stuff needs to look like someone else’s. It gets exhausting fr 😮💨
I felt pressured to “niche down” and sit myself in a specific corner in my career and just try my best to break through. I hate sitting in corners.
Luckily- there’s a better, more rewarding option 🙏🏾
The pendulum is swinging.
Authenticity and making yourself the niche is the best social media and personal brand strategy.
Anything else and you’re competing with the 1000s of other avatars trying to supply a demand already being filled. I’ve tried that, I’m cool on it fr.
Aim for a position where you’re the ONLY one who can fill the demand of yourself 💪🏾
The brands with the most loyalty separate themselves with narrative.
Rolex, Porsche, Bitcoin, The Government.
They give people a story to identify with and find security in. They allow people to form tribes and strengthen that identity and security, for better or worse.

I accidentally made a viral video that got my brand new channel monetized + over 6,000 subscribers…
No fast-paced cuts, edits, or GTA gameplay.
Just turned on the camera and went for it.
