@kmartyn5 Legacy companies rely on multiple suppliers for components. Those suppliers would all need to work together if all the components are to work in a SDV. That will not happen, and legacy companies do not have the skill to create or design all the components themselves.
@kmartyn5 The legacy vehicle business model is no longer competitive (labor unions, parts suppliers, franchised dealerships), not to mention the antiquated technology. They’re all doomed, and it would happen overnight if the Chinese vehicle floodgates opened.
Elon Musk is not stealing from you.
Gavin Newsom is stealing from you.
Karen Bass is stealing from you.
Tim Walz is stealing from you.
Elizabeth Warren is stealing from you.
AOC is stealing from you.
Becoming wealthy does not make you evil.
The people who take from you, promising to fix problems and then enriching themselves while trying to get you to hate those they’re taking the money from, are evil.
@keith_dorschner It really sucks they got rid of the S and X. I'm ready to trade my Y in, but don't want another 3 or Y, and I already have a CT. Now I'm considering the Rivian R2. (I owned two MINIs. I'm past that phase.)
Democratic senators jump on misleading reporting by Reuters , who has a history of attacking Tesla.
This plays into the hands of ETSC in Europe. A legacy automaker funded advocacy group that is trying to obstruct Tesla’s successful rollout of FSD in Europe by saying there are a big problems with FSD in North America, when that’s clearly not the case.
At what point can Tesla sue Reuters for this misinformation? They really need to fire up those hard-core lawyers they were looking to hire.
@kmartyn5 I didn't even know there was a new Bolt and Leaf. I thought those models were dead. There must be some government money flowing just to keep them around.
