@ayesharascoe I thought you might like this: The other day I was listening to the "Way Down in the Hole" podcast ("The Wire") and when our 8 yo son heard the theme music, he said "It's tiiime to pwaaay da puzzle!" Similar bassline in both. It was so cute.

@LisaWritesBooks @DC_Hallows @minakimes Apparently "Rota" means something other than whatever Google uses as their dictionary thinks it means. From what I gather it's British (slang?) for "schedule." There's also Rota Island. Yeah, I guess that makes a lot more sense. Bad Google!
@minakimes Definitely "No duh" evolved into "No doi." I think something like "Uh, dur." came after. I definitely remember a mix. Middle School (6-8) circa 1989-92 Veneta and Lincoln City/Newport, OR.
