We had a blast at Russell Farms today. We learned about life/animals on the farm, went on a hayride to pick out some pumpkins & even had some time to play in the beautiful, fall weather! 🍂🎃
First three days of student teaching ✅ I am so exciting for what is to come! This group of kiddos is so special. So many opportunities for learning and magic to come!!
@ms__mitchell 1. A classroom doorbell, to get your students attention/bring them to the carpet
2. LOTS of whiteboards & expo markers
3. Individual math toolboxes to house each child’s math manipulatives 😊
I hope this is helpful!
Our Student Lighthouse Team has worked so hard to pull off today’s book drive! All of the money raised will be for @IndySOW to buy brand new books! Come to @WWESLeaders & show our SLT some support from 10:00 - 12:30! 📚
We had a super soft start to our day, as we made cards for one of our classmates. I love seeing how these firsties show love & support to one another through difficult times. Thankful for my first grade crew & taking time to nurture our relationships with one other! ♥️
Showing off a few of my favorite first graders for all of the role model behavior they have displayed to earn the title, “Student of the Month!” These kiddos make me so proud. ♥️
Congratulations to @butleru COE Prof. Theresa Knipstein Meyer on receiving the 2022 Outstanding Professor of the Year Award from @indianacec! Due to weather, she was unable to accept in person, but 3 COE @Butler_cec student members accepted on her behalf.
Congratulations to @ButlerCOE professor Theresa Knipstein Meyer for being named the 2022 Professor of the Year by the @indianacec Indiana Council for Exception Children! So proud of you and grateful for your impact on our students.
Elf Day was a blast! We read “How to Catch an Elf,” and created our own elf trap. We decorated & wrapped our parent gifts too! We can’t wait for Grinch Day tomorrow!
