The AIFF, in collaboration with FIFA, held a two-day FIFA Amateur Football Environment Analysis (AFEA) workshop in New Delhi on July 2 and 3. 👨🏻‍🏫🇮🇳

Led by Chokey Nima 🇧🇹, FIFA Regional Technical Consultant for South Asia, and Javier Sánchez 🇪🇸, Amateur Football Analysis Manager, both from FIFA's Global Football Development Division, the programme saw participation from a wide range of stakeholders, including representatives from government bodies, state associations, clubs involved in grassroots and amateur football, schools and universities with football programmes, and private sector organisations.

The workshop provided a comprehensive understanding of the structures, activities and challenges within India's amateur football landscape. The findings will help identify areas of strength and opportunities for future development, supporting AIFF and FIFA in formulating strategies to expand participation and strengthen football at the grassroots and amateur levels.
