@2AFDN @davekopel I'd like to see common use framed more as a floor argument i.e. a shortcut to skip a full analysis. This could give SCOTUS enough of a buffer for semi-auto rifles, mags, suppressors etc. so they can punt on MG's. With those sorted the appetite might change on MG's down the road.

@MorosKostas If things are going well, they will get that processed in about 30-45 days. Some of mine have gone close to 3 months until I paid a lawyer. So 1/90 gets closer to 1/120-180. Delays are institutional and intentional. So the entry point is certainly nuts, but only the start. (3/3)

@MorosKostas For example, if someone bought a pistol today, they would have to leave it at the FFL, mail in copies of the receipt, the NICS number, pictures of the gun for review (this includes making sure it's one of the six approved colors), and pictures of your safe/storage. (2/n)
