Parents, School is almost starting and I want to ask you to sit down with your child for 5 minutes and explain that there is no reason to make fun of someone for being tall, short, chubby, skinny, black, white, or hispanic. Autistic or any disability, etc. There's nothing wrong with wearing the same shoes 👞 👟 every day. Explain to them that a used backpack 🎒 carries the same dreams as a new one. Please teach them not to exclude anyone for "being different" or not liking what you like or not having the same possibilities as another. Explain to them that teasing hurts, bullying hurts and isolating them just because one person does not like them hurts and that school is for going to LEARN, NOT to compete 👌🏽You and I are worth the same!!!! God doesn’t love me more than you! Grammar is wrong intentionally, lol🤞🏽❤️Education starts at home 👏🏽
@TracesofTexas Love the men’s hats! My dad related to me many times that his dad - my grandfather who died before I was born - wore a flat top hat like these. Wonder if he attended any of this!
@BethMooreLPM So a concordance helps to cross-reference verses, right? How do you look up the history or deeper meanings of the words used?
I have this hunger to know more and learn deeper (like you do for your studies) but I don’t know where to start.
I’m not reposting this because of some dollar figure. I am reposting this because he speaks in a way that reveals he understand what teachers endure and are doing. It resonates. Way different than all the “Educrat” nonsense and holding up basic allotment “as a carrot” for voucher approval
Gov Abbott announced a 30-day special session beginning today specifically for vouchers. This session did not address what our public schools need the most: adequate funding. Tell the Governor your tax dollars belong in public schools. #FundTexasSchools

As a teacher, I never wanted a student leaving class feeling defeated. As an admin, I never wanted a teacher leaving school feeling defeated. Be kind, available, supportive and encouraging.
