@Igloomike1 @BellaWallerstei The Benefit Cap lift was to Universal Credit child element which for any subsequent child (after the first two) is an additional £292.81. The £26 then £17 is for Child Benefit which never had a limit.

Adjusted 23-24 tax return due to failure to input deduction. Paid £610 tax but this now shows as £496 (-£114).

Will I get the difference returned or do I need to input tax already paid of £610?

If so which box (property tax as employed tax is already paid).

I have originally paid £610 for 23-24 but I am unsure if this needs to be inputted on the amended return so that I get the refund of £114?

@WallStreetApes @elonmusk If it’s anything like the UK government departments, there will be so few staff that carry the workload with the majority just sailing through doing the bare minimum knowing it’s usually a “job for life” and unless you do something dramatically wrong you’ll not be fired!

@sazza518 @MartinSLewis I had this exact same thing and they said there was suspicious activity that wouldn’t show on my online account yet and they would send a code to verify me and when I asked why it said “one time PASSWORD” they tried playing it off…absolutely a scam call!
