Community organisation working on 3 acres in Rivelin Valley, Sheffield. We run local alpaca treks and promote sustainable growing and nature education for all.
PLEASE - if this is the only photo you click on today - just DO IT !!!
This is my dad, harnessing a DUCK at @Holly_Hagg farm...
My parents have become volunteer alpaca trekkers right... but they also tend to the other animals too π
This photo is just too much for me... π¦
Every Wednesday we l go to @holly_hagg farm for our drop-in sessions. These sessions promote wellbeing, combat isolation and develop employability skills
We were able to make these sessions Covid safe through a really timely grant from @sy_vru a huge thanks from all at Grow!!
Treks are back! Bookings available on our new website https://t.co/AJzQwFPfPd from 1st Aug. We're starting slow & have tweaked procedures but feeling confident after today's training session for the guides (who are wearing visors but customers will not be required to cover faces)
Trelawny would wish you all a #HappyNewYear but seems to have his mouth full. So, from all of us humans at Holly Hagg and on behalf of the alpacas, llama, ducks, chicken, pondlife and wildlife: Happy New Year!
Thanks for all your amazing support in 2019, see you next year! π₯°π¦π₯³
Everyone's feelin' #festive! Our herd of #Reinpacas are admiring Jefe's early xmas present, brought all the way back from Bolivia, an authentic llama saddlebag π Doesn't he look dashing!
We visited the brilliant @Holly_Hagg urban farm! π
Went on an Alpaca Trek, and learned about the community farm that uses permaculture principles to grow organic food and care for alpacas, llamas, chickens & more. Big thanks to Tony & Co. for organising!
