After the winter storm that hit much of the East Coast, snow sculptures began appearing throughout New York City. Some, like a snowy depiction of a man's head and a gathering of polar bear sculptures in Central Park, were incredibly realistic.
“Given the right medium and time (like a snow day), people here know how to make your jaw drop,” shared Donna Cleary, who recorded video of one of the sculptures.
Dakota County is expanding access to safe recycling and household hazardous waste disposal.
The Recycling Zone Plus is coming to Lakeville, with construction starting this spring. The new site will be convenient for residents and help keep harmful waste out of landfills. Residents can drop off paints, batteries, electronics, household hazardous items and more.
