Wondering if you can do a favor for someone who means the world to me.
My friend Holly is one of my oldest and dearest friends.
She is one of the few people I trust with my life.
Holly is having a double mastectomy this week.
In the first slide you can learn more about her diagnosis.
It would mean the world to me if you would leave a supportive comment for her below.
I have blocked her on Twitter so she doesn't see this until I'm ready to show her!
Thank you!
Hello Chicago, Hello!! What a beautiful empowering, uplifting soul-nourishing day! Few places am I more comfortable than in rooms full of autism families🙏🙏🏾😃😃. So thrilled to be part of a fireside chat at @theanswerincnfp Annual #Autism And Developmental Differences Expo!! There were so many cool resources and the vibes were so supportive. The community energy was popping! Thank you to everyone who came out. The autism community is a unique one. Especially for black and brown families who don’t have as much access to services and interventions and diagnosis as other communities! Thank you to all the parents who came out to advocate for their children and loved ones 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓 Thank you to my Shero Debra Vines!
I’m so glad I got to provide some comfort today to Ms. Sharon, #RyanGainer’s grieving mom after the press conference today. She shared with me how our docu series gave her hope for Ryan’s future. When RJ passed his drivers test she had hope that her Ryan would get his license one day. He would have turned 16 on November 9. We cried and cried today. But we also laughed and smiled talking about the funny quirky things her son would do… our sons had so much in common: love of Thomas the Tank Engine…love of the Dodgers…love of random information..
My God- He should be alive! 😢😢😢😡🙏🏾
We have to do better, and have more non-lethal options for people having mental health moments…
#autism should not be a death sentence…💔💔💔
I went to the press conference for #RyanGainer today. I learned so much about this 15-year-old who overcame so much adversity in his life only to be killed in his front yard during a mental health crisis episode…After that deputies treated his mother so cruelly- she is paralyzed in a wheelchair-they let her fall out of the wheelchair like a ragdoll. Then detained her for hours, not giving updates on her son’s condition …It is unimaginably excruciating to watch.
We have to do better. The autism community deserves to be treated like they matter!! 💔💔💔😢😢😢😡😡
Dear Mr. Parkinson’s: I really don’t care for you at all. Actually, I can’t stand your a**! 🤬Our family has been dealing #ParkinsonsDisease since the mid 80s when our father Matt was diagnosed at the young age of 46🤯… fast-forward to my big brother Matt getting a diagnosis of the same early onset Parkinson’s. This video is from 2017 from our docuseries #ForPeetesSake…When I first found out I was so upset but until I saw my brother’s amazing attitude about it… 🙏🏾we didn’t know much in the 80s about PD but now we have a lot of information and an important thing is exercise and moving. Matt does boxing, yoga, hiking, you name it. He was even “zoomin” in my backyard this past weekend 🕺🏾🔥💕🔥He keeps it moving! I’m so damn proud of you, big brother. You Are my hero!! @djmattrobinson Thank you @OWNTV for helping us spread awareness about PD!!
Do you know or love someone with Parkinson’s?💜🙏🏾
