Working through weapon development for @holospacegame. We’ve built a weapon design framework directly into the engine to streamline the creation of blasters. Here you can see the first-person view guide lines used to ensure each weapon feels consistent and plays well.
In Holospace, we want planets to feel truly massive—not just when you’re standing on the surface, but from high above as well.
We’re currently working on terrain rendering from the atmospheric perspective, allowing you to see the planet’s immense scale as you descend from orbit.

Meteor Storms
This dev log is about showcasing a newly added environmental hazard: meteor storms.
Meteor storms can occur randomly at any time while exploring the world, without warning. When one triggers, the environment becomes increasingly dangerous as debris begins raining down across the terrain.
If you find yourself caught in a meteor storm, stay alert and keep moving—open ground becomes especially risky, and impacts can happen both near and far from the initial strike zone. These events are designed to disrupt exploration and force quick decision-making under pressure, so don’t assume any area is truly safe.
Watch the skies… and be ready to react.
