What does lifelong loyalty to SFA look like?
For Alan and Kim Jones, it means decades of support for students, academics, athletics and the arts, creating opportunities that will shape SFA for generations.
We are grateful for their enduring impact. 💜

A new name. A lasting legacy. 🎭 💜
SFA’s School of Theatre and Dance is now the Denard Haden School of Theatre and Dance, honoring a distinguished alumnus whose influence continues to inspire generations of artists.
We are deeply grateful to alumna Priscilla “Prissy” Sliva for her incredibly generous gift, which made this milestone possible and highlights the meaningful role our alumni play in creating opportunities for future Lumberjacks. #AxeEm

Grateful for Alan & Kim Jones’ incredible generosity in providing our new Taraflex court, named in honor of legendary coach Debbie Humphreys. Their gift ensures our @SFA_Volleyball student-athletes compete on the best surface possible. #AxeEm
Although the game didn’t go as we wanted, we had an amazing time cheering on our @SFA_Football and spending time with the @sfa_alumni at Alumni Corner! Love sharing this with my family! #AxeEm
We've all been there.
We see what they're sharing on social media. We hear what they talk about. We watch from afar and wonder why things are so much better where "they" are? Why is the grass so greener over there?
And sometimes we jump the gun.
We leave what we have and run right to the greener grass. And pretty soon that grass starts dying around us too. But what happened? I thought things were so amazing here?
The reality?
Sometimes the grass around us only feels dead because we haven't taken the time to look down and see that we aren't even holding a watering can. How can the grass be green where we are if we aren't even watering it?
Which is why when we leave for greener grass, that grass dies too.
So before you jump ship to something that SEEMS better, first see if the grass is only dying around you because you stopped watering it....
Happy National Daughter Day to our hippo loving Angela @holthippos ! I couldn’t be more proud of the mom, wife, friend, and teacher (school and dance) that she is. Love you 💜💜
Happy National Daughter’s Day to the one I get to claim as my own! She calls me pretty because she looks like me and is pretty herself. Oh sweet girl, YOU are beautiful because of your heart and soul. I cherish every tender moment from snuggles to worshiping.
