@englandcricket Messed up Durham's chances of winning the current match. His replacement is not allowed to bowl. Again, no thought given to county teams and supporters.
@jk_rowling@RosieDuffield1 However, it is a very cunning plan. As cunning as a fox who's just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University. Maybe we have here the new Edmund and Baldrick.
@MikeWass2@ayrracecourse@YorkshireRacing Mike, I would think Eddie was riding the following years Champion Hurdle winner, Salmon Spray, in race 562. I enjoy looking through these racecards and seeing many old friends.
@cyclist@robyn_emz What a few years I've had watching Katie and the other ladies ride so successfully for GB. Thank you, and best wishes and success for the future.
@CollingsBerry@JohnWathenBerry@salisburyraces I'll read John's article later, but, if my 76yo memory is not playing tricks, I listened to Mill Reef defeating 1/8 chance Fireside Chat in 1970.
@MikeWass2 The 1960's and early 70's was my 'golden era' of NH racing. I'm now of the opinion that there were three or four identical horses called The Fossa. It seems to run in every old card I look at.
@TeamGB She was an icon for me when I was a teenager. I feel she is often overlooked in many discussions nowadays when great British Olympians are talked about. Sad news.
@GolfweekNichols When Chris Paisley won the 2018 (??) South African Open, I'm certain his wife was on the bag. I think she was standing in for his regular caddy.
@DaveTindallgolf@racingoncourse A trip down memory lane. Most of my biggest wins came courtesy of Jeremy. The beauty of it was the large returns for a modest outlay. EW 'transatlantic doubles' and even trebles with the Asian or Australasian Tours thrown in. So sad to learn of his passing.
