@LeftCoastLeafs It’s not the fanbase it’s purely the media. The true fanbase has no issue with Knies and especially his contract. You can’t replace players like that but the media is driving all US players to leave Canadian teams for their own narrative. Call it what it is.
@Irwin_2012 Just because the media reports something doesn’t make it truth. I don’t doubt there were bad eggs in the convoy just like with any group. But the Prime Minister used the War Act which violated Canadian Human Rights. Why doesn’t that infuriate you? Wrong flavour of Kool-Aid?
@Zer0PucksGiven The brain drain in Canada is so real and the Canadian government is laughing its way through our existence as they pad their pocketbooks. What a world they have created.
@Myself9752465 Cool thing about free country, free travel between countries and a free society is that the population gets to do whatever they want regardless of what people on Twitter or the CBC/CTV tell them to do. Price of anything in Canada is double than that of the US. You do you though.
@RachelKryshak No disrespect and honest question but do you watch the games? He is not even close to an NHL defenceman anymore. He loses every race to the puck and has zero shot which we sorely miss on the point. I’m sure he’s a great guy but I’d like to see what we look like without him.
@abendytendy Gee I wonder why he wanted out. I am not a huge of American politics but I also think what’s happening in Canada is a joke too. Interesting that we now hold athletes more accountable then we do our Government. What a world we live in.
@abandoncomfortx It’s cute when Americans start following hockey and think they are devastating Canadians with a take like this. We will trade you these two for all the Canadians in the league playing for US teams. What a retarded take.
@marleydickinson@alancaw@RTEsport Dude thought the Canadians played their games in Montreal and Vancouver and expects Canadians to heed any of his advice. I’ll pass. You would think a soccer analyst would at least know where the games are being played. How is Ireland doing anyway?
@_50_in_07_@Banx_Leaf Joseph Woll was a great goalie when healthy but as with most Leaf players was completely over valued by the fan base (said as a Leaf fan). Think about how many teams would have Woll as a starter next year? We have 2 solid goalies in the AHL. I’ll take my chances and cap space.
@MikeInBuffalo Thankfully the Leafs seem to be doing the right things instead of listening to takes like these. Woll is also often injured and we gained an asset (3rd rounder pick) and moved substantial salary for cap space. We have plenty of goalies. Rielly is next. Terrible take.
@AdamWylde It’s making something out of an asset that rarely plays due to injuries (Woll) or earning a spot (Benoit) for assets and a pick back with cap space saving. What is there not to get? Rielly is next. This is what good teams do to improve. It’s a new concept in Toronto.
@Eyasu2323 I mean if you can watch this and not conclude that he is Fidel Castro’s son then I don’t know what to tell you. Points directly to why Canada is now a dumpster fire.
@OHLoffthepuck We officially live in the era where we believe that we can control what others say on Twitter. I don’t agree with ANYONE abusing folks online but I also would never expect that to change on this platform. Kitchener won the Mem Cup the hard way. Guelph fans wouldn’t understand.
@SteveMcLean888 Trying to make yourself relevant by poking the championship bear is a massive loser play. Be better. Guelph got the Mem Cup Tournament, Kitchener won the actual Mem Cup the hard way. No one cares what Guelph fans think at this point.
@BrownRecord@WR_Record If this is the Chicoutimi coaches main concern after last night then it makes way more sense why Quebec players are rarely considered for the world junior teams anymore. No proof of any threats but they are making that the main topic. He used his skate as a weapon. Kick rocks.
