I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
Agent calls me to tell me about a 3-bed basement he wants me to see.

I understand your concern, @Oluwabunmi63697. The sight of children begging on our streets should trouble every Nigerian.
I established the American University of Nigeria as a practical investment in education and the development of the North. If profit had been my primary motivation, I could easily have located the university in Abuja or Lagos, where the commercial advantages would have been greater. I chose Yola because I wanted to invest in my people, create opportunities, and bring world-class education closer to a region that had long needed greater access and development.
And as I have publicly stated before, this university is not my personal property or that of my family. I have already signed a deed of gift transferring it to the community. AUN belongs to the community it was established to serve.
Beyond its classrooms, AUN created the Feed and Read programme, providing vulnerable Almajiri children with daily meals while teaching them literacy and numeracy. Through its Technology-Enhanced Learning for All initiative, AUN also helped more than 20,000 internally displaced children learn to read through educational radio programmes.
Following the Chibok tragedy in 2014, seven years after I left office, AUN awarded scholarships to young women who had escaped Boko Haram, giving them an opportunity to rebuild their lives through education.
My conviction remains simple: every child belongs in a classroom, not on the street with a begging bowl. Whether in government or outside it, I have always sought to turn that conviction into practical action. -AA
"2 days after they were kidnapped, i will go to that bush and everybody will come out. They might be casualty, but everybody will come out." — Peter Obi shares how he would have handled the Orire abduction
It is true and there is 50+ years data to back this up. Across 54 listed FMCG, brewing and cement companies in seven countries, Nigeria pays the lowest share of revenue to workers (5.6% average) and one of the highest to shareholders (10–14%).

“I left office as Anambra governor with savings in the state account — $50 million and ₦12 billion in Diamond Bank, another $50 million and ₦12 billion in Fidelity Bank, and the same in Access Bank. I believe strongly in saving, and I made sure we saved in dollars too , no governor has ever done that”😳

Hakeem Olajuwon started playing basketball at 15 and retired as one of the greatest players ever.
The chances of a great athlete starting soccer at 15 and retiring as a one of the greatest ever is near zero.
Make of that what you will.
Husband will shit and not flush the toilet. Wife complained and even had to put a notice in the toilet- "pls, flush after use" but still, husband didn't change. Wife threatened divorce and even had to move out of the house at a point.
