Oh, how great is Your Name, O Lord! It is the strength of my soul. When my strength fails, and darkness invades my soul, Your Name is the sun whose rays give light and warmth. Under their influence the soul becomes more beautiful and radiant, taking its splendor from Your Name.

Please say this for me each day; it sums up all my desires: “Merciful Father, in the Name of Thy sweet Jesus, of the Blessed Virgin, and all the Saints, I beg Thee to consume my sister with Thy spirit of love, and to grant her the grace to make Thee greatly loved.”
#StThérèse

O most compassionate Jesus, if your severe justice intends to condemn me, I appeal to your most loving mercy.”
The Child Jesus turned to me and said: “Learn how one should love.”
#PadrePio

Suffering soul: “O most gracious Jesus, have mercy on me while the time of mercy still lasts. Do not condemn me most Sweet Jesus, when you come to judge me, for I should not be able to love you any more.

If it is in accord with God’s Will, I order your little angel in the Name of Jesus not to allow our enemies to tear up my letters in the future, but rather to let these enemies be consumed with rage

The Name of the Son of God is great and boundless, and upholds the entire universe.

Jesus did not measure His blood for the salvation of men, and is He likely to measure my sins to allow me to be lost?
#StPadrePio, Letter 25

Because Jesus is a man I strive to imitate him; because of his divine power I lean upon him. The examples of his human life I gather like medicinal herbs; with the aid of his power I blend them, and the result is a compound like no pharmacist can produce.

#StMatthew 1:24-25

When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him; he took his wife, but knew her not until she had borne a son; and he called His Name Jesus.

[Holy Name Society @holynamewest]

God's Name is one of divine mercy. “He who is mighty has done great things for me, holy is His Name.” Divine mercy is God's Name. “Your Name is oil poured out.” Persons are protected through the power and mercy of God. “In the shadow of His hand He hid me.”

The Name and countenance of God and invites all Christians to glorify their Father in heaven. For #StJuanMacias by his charity to the poor showed in his time the true Name of God to the needy of the Americas who did not know that God is Love.

God’s is an Omnipotence which can at the same time swathe Itself in infirmity and can become the captive of Its own creatures. He has the incomprehensible power of even making Himself weak. We must know Him by His names, Emmanuel and Jesus, to know Him perfectly.

The Holy Name of the Lord has been raised up on the #Cross above heaven and earth, alleluia

[Holy Name Society @holynamewest]

In order to labor for the salvation of her neighbor, let her make the saving sign of the Cross upon her heart; let her utter My Name once before she speaks; and after that, let her say all that My grace inspires her with.

“Where two are gathered together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them.” Where Christ is in the midst, there is a great multitude. Where Christ is, there must be Angels, Archangels and the other Powers. You are not alone; you have Him Who is Lord of all.
#StJohnChrysostom
