In the midst of a small update (2.5), but yes been cookin since 2021. Will start back up games on stream late this month or early next with the “LABS Bootcamp” exclusively for my less XP players, a 2-day event.

This is why I've pretty much exclusively played private matches and scrims the past few months. I maybe have 1 in 15 comp/trials games that have solid connections and are fun matches, whereas LABS or scrims provide a much more consistently satisfying and fun experience.

Destiny 2 PvP in its current state is embarrassingly bad.

From overall matchmaking to inconsistent connections to way out of band pulse rifles to high ability uptime to spawn mechanics to stale (or even regressive) gameplay evolution to questionable overall arena FPS design philosophy...all show a gross mishandling of a beloved franchise mode.

I wouldn't even know where to start with a list of (at this point) greatly matured & seemingly dismissed pain points, some obvious & some more nuanced.

You all know I adore this game, mode & franchise, but *in my opinion* PvP is in its worst state ever.

At the very least, it's clear that we lost a lot of top tier devs & resources in recent layoffs. You all are sorely missed & deserve companies who value your AAA talents.
